Mining Skills Australia seeks experienced Operator/Trainers to deliver mine site training on day shifts in Queensland coal fields and NSW Hunter Valley. The role involves developing and improving production operators through training focused on correct operating applications, preventative maintenance, proficiency and safe operations.
Candidates need 3 years operating experience on production excavators, dozers, graders or loaders, plus machine competencies and hands-on experience with operator step-up and refresher training. Computer and tablet proficiency is required. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (complete or part completion) and an Australian driver's licence are mandatory.
The position offers day shifts only (12 hours), various even time rosters, accommodation and meals where required, permanent and casual options, plus ongoing support and pre-training in digital training tools including VR and animations. DIDO arrangements available with accommodation supplied as needed.
