Desert to Coast is seeking a truck trainer and assessor for their Newman location on a FIFO basis. The role involves training and assessing heavy vehicle classes HR, HC, and MC. Additional training in heavy vehicle pilot and traffic management is desirable.
Candidates need TAE40116, vocational competence in the units being assessed, Department of Transport approved assessor status, industry currency, WA Driving Instructors license, and ability to train/assess up to MC level. The position requires conducting assessments to DOT standards, training to unit of competency requirements, and willingness to travel within WA on a FIFO Perth to Pilbara roster.
