Early Childhood Education & Care Trainer

Foresite Training, a registered training organisation, is hiring an Early Childhood Education and Care trainer at its Moonah campus in Tasmania. You'll teach and assess ECEC programs and mentor students towards careers in early childhood education. The role is full-time or part-time, with support to gain your TAE if you don't hold it yet.

What you'll do

• Deliver engaging, high-quality training and assessment in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Run practical and theory sessions aligned with current industry standards and frameworks
• Build students' skills, confidence and knowledge for the early childhood sector
• Assess competency against the training package and compliance requirements
• Keep accurate training records, assessment documents and reports
• Mentor students and give constructive feedback
• Work with the training team to improve resources and student outcomes
• Build relationships with industry partners and placement providers

What they're looking for

• Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122), or willingness to gain it with Foresite's support
• Current industry experience and an understanding of early childhood frameworks, compliance and best practice
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
• Able to support students from diverse backgrounds
